Ian Williams

Ian Williams is an accomplished finance professional, currently serving as the Group Finance Director at Royal London since December 2023. With a career spanning over two decades, Ian has held various significant roles, including Trustee at Cariad Kenya and Group Financial Controller at esure Group. Ian's expertise encompasses financial controls, reporting, and operations, demonstrated through positions at Nationwide Building Society and Aviva. Ian has also contributed to the Young Persons Trust for the Environment as Chair of Trustees and held roles at Friends Provident and AXA Life Insurance as Head of Life Accounting, Banking and Controls. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Maths, Operational Research, Statistics, and Economics from the University of Warwick.
