Lauren Southerland Pe

Lauren Southerland, PE, is a skilled geotechnical and geological engineer with extensive experience in field investigations, geologic hazards mapping, and GIS. Currently serving as a Geotechnical Engineer at R&M Consultants, Inc., Lauren has previously held positions at Shannon & Wilson, Inc., Hultgren – Tillis Engineers, and Yeh and Associates, Inc., where responsibilities included slope stability analysis and design. Lauren's career began with internships, including significant work with the Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys, focusing on coastal hazards and engineering geology. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
