Jessica Folsom

Jessica Folsom is a Research Associate at RMC Research Corporation since June 2023, bringing a robust background in special education and research. Previous roles include Special Education Teacher and Instructional Design Strategist in the Iowa City Community School District, where Jessica provided coaching and support focused on diversity and inclusion. Jessica worked as a Research Scientist at the Iowa Reading Research Center, managing data and conducting observations, and served as an Associate in Research at the Florida Center for Reading Research, specializing in methodology for various educational studies. Additionally, Jessica has experience as a special education teacher and has taught at Florida State University College of Education. Jessica holds a Ph.D. in Special Education, along with a Graduate Certificate in Educational Measurement and Statistics, and has extensive training in special education pedagogy and research methodologies.
