Joanna Harvey

Joanna Harvey is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various sectors, including education and government. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Business Partner at RMIT UP since May 2023, Joanna has previously held significant roles such as Communications Business Partner for COVID Response at RMIT University and Senior Communications Strategist at the Department of Education & Training, Victoria. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Media Advisor for the COVID-19 response at the Department of Health & Human Services, Media Advisor at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, and Communications Manager at Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria. Joanna's earlier roles also feature marketing and communications positions at ASQA, ACMI, and the City of Boroondara. Joanna holds a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Massey University and a Bachelor of Arts alongside a Graduate Diploma in Film and Media Studies/Theatre Studies from the University of Otago.
