Shannan Carlson

Shannan Carlson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shannan is currently the Executive Vice President of Sales, Planning, and Merchandising at rms beauty since February 2023. Before that, they worked as a Member at Chief starting from August 2021.

From 2017 to 2023, Shannan worked at E.L.F. BEAUTY, where they held various positions. Shannan started as the Director of Sales, Multi-Channel from January 2017 to October 2019. Then, they became the Senior Director of Sales, Specialty and Drug from October 2019 to May 2021. After that, they were promoted to Associate Vice President of Sales and Space Planning from June 2022 to January 2023. Additionally, they served as the AVP Sales, Specialty and Drug from May 2021 to July 2022.

Prior to E.L.F. BEAUTY, Shannan worked at Johnson & Johnson from 2013 to 2017. Shannan started as a Customer Development Manager from June 2013 to July 2014. Shannan then became the Sr. Customer Development Manager, OTC from July 2014 to January 2017.

Before that, they were the Director of Sales, Midwest at method products inc. from June 2011 to June 2013. Shannan also worked at Alberto Culver as the Senior Trade Marketing Manager, Hair Care from April 2010 to June 2011 and as the Channel Marketing Manager from September 2008 to March 2010.

Shannan's early work experience includes roles at PepsiCo, where they served as the Customer Specific Marketing Manager for Wal-Mart & Sam's/Gatorade from March 2004 to September 2008. Shannan also worked at P&G as the Midwest Division Manager, Duracell, Home Depot from 2001 to 2004.

Shannan's first positions were at Duracell as a Sales Rep in the Midwest Region from 1999 to 2001.

Shannan Carlson attended Michigan State University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing.
