Hillary Olson is the current President & CEO at Rochester Museum and Science Center. Prior to their current position, they served as a Board Member at Large for the Association of Midwest Museums from July 2018 to January 2019. Hillary has also been an Adjunct Instructor for the Museum Studies Program at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from January 2018 to October 2018. In September 2015, they started as the Vice President of Audience and Community Engagement at Milwaukee Public Museum and held that position until October 2018. From January 2011 to August 2015, Hillary was the Director of Integrated Programming at The Franklin Institute. And from April 2003 to October 2009, they were the Director of Education/Director of Programs at Long Island Children's Museum. Hillary's first museum job was as the Visitor Education at Natural Theirtory Museum of Los Angeles County from January 1999 to December 2003.
Hillary Olson has an executive education for museum leaders from the Museum Leadership Institute as well as a MsED. in museum leadership from Bank Street College of Education. Hillary also has a B.S. in earth and space sciences from Stony Brook University.
