JD Isaacks

JD Isaacks has worked in the software engineering industry since 2003. JD began their career in the US Army as an Information Systems Officer. From 2006 to 2012, they were the Lead Web Developer at Kranich's Jewelers Incorporated, where they were responsible for developing RIAs using Flash, Flex, jQuery, Adobe AIR, and MVC. In 2012, they joined Emcien as a Software Engineer, working full stack on products including development with Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and Backbone, as well as creating complex data visualizations with D3. From 2014 to 2016, JD Isaacks was a JavaScript Instructor at The Iron Yard, where they created and designed lectures, curriculum, course materials, and homework assignments, and guided and mentored students from novice to junior developers. Since 2018, they have been a Lead UI Software Engineer at Roadie Inc.

JD Isaacks attended The Art Institutes from 2006 to 2009.
