Katherine Binney

Katherine Binney currently serves as a Product Manager at Roadrunner Venture Studios since August 2023, contributing to the development of frontier technology. Prior to this, Katherine held multiple roles at Schmidt Futures from October 2019 to July 2023, including Manager and Associate in Strategy, where work was focused on a product line for parole and probation staff in collaboration with the nonprofit Recidiviz. Experience also includes a Summer Associate position at Gradient in 2019, and significant academic involvement at Harvard University, where Katherine was the Head Teaching Fellow for CS51, as well as teaching and advising roles across various computer science courses. Early career experience includes software engineering internships at Two Sigma and WhatsApp, along with a participation in Jane Street's INSIGHT program. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Harvard University and engaged in a 30-day backpacking expedition through NOLS in Alaska.
