Andra Blatt

Andra Blatt has a diverse work experience in the education and science fields. Andra began their career in 2000 at Nauticus The National Maritime Center as an Educator. In 2003, they worked as a Zookeeper at Mill Mountain Zoological Park for a limited period. Andra then transitioned into the education sector, teaching Middle School Science at Northside Middle from 2009 to 2012. In 2005, they joined Roanoke County Schools as a Middle School Science Teacher and later became the Science Department Head in 2013. Concurrently, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Mary Baldwin University since 2008. In 2012, they joined Glenvar Middle School as a Science Teacher.

Andra Blatt completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Behavior from Old Dominion University from 1995 to 1998. Andra later pursued a Master's degree in Middle School Science from Mary Baldwin University from 2003 to 2005.
