Marissa Kopera

Marissa Kopera is an experienced educator and professional with a diverse background in marketing, banking, and customer service. Currently serving as a Secondary CTE teacher with a focus on Marketing and Marketing Management at Roanoke County Schools since August 2023, Marissa previously worked as a substitute teacher during March to May 2023. Marketing experience includes a role as a Brand Ambassador at Go-Forth Pest Control, where Marissa recruited college students for internships in various departments. Banking expertise was gained at American National Bank & Trust Company in roles as a Relationship Banker and Relationship Banker I, focusing on customer service and cash management. Marissa also contributed to academic settings as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business and has held customer-focused positions, including cashier duties at Cundiff Drug Store Inc and as a party host at Chuck E. Cheese. Marissa holds a Bachelor's of Science in Business, Management, and Human Resources from Virginia Tech.
