Alexandr Ceskel

Alexandr Ceskel has extensive work experience in the financial industry, particularly in compliance, regulatory, and IT project management. Alexandr is the owner of ASC Advisory, where they provide advice and support to the financial industry. Alexandr has over 15 years of experience internationally, managing project teams and reporting to senior management globally.

Prior to ASC Advisory, Alexandr worked at Robeco as an IT WorkStream Lead and Project Manager. Their responsibilities included implementing trade surveillance software and a fully automated Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) software solution to enhance compliance and risk management processes.

Before their role at Robeco, Alexandr worked at ING as a Compliance Project Manager and Team Lead. Alexandr was involved in implementing a global compliance IT tool and managing pre-clearance for trading, registering of Gifts & Entertainments, and outside positions.

Alexandr also gained experience at Credit Suisse, where they worked in Regulatory Strategy and Business Change. Additionally, they worked at ING Nederland as an Implementation Manager and Project Manager, leading various projects related to account opening procedures, IT landscape updates, and new payment engine roll-outs.

Earlier in their career, Alexandr worked at ABN AMRO Bank as a Business Consultant, ensuring process compliance and improving procedures. Alexandr also had an internship and assistant role at LSG Sky Chefs, where they assisted in evaluating quality checks within the kitchens, and at Daimler AG, where they supported documentation and database management.

Alexandr Ceskel completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2005. Afterwards, they pursued a German Diploma (equivalent to a Master's degree) in Production Management at Reutlingen University from 2001 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Alexandr has obtained multiple certifications. These include the Investment Foundations® Certificate from the CFA Institute in May 2023, the ESG Certificate from The Ministry of Compliance in May 2022, the Professional Scrum Master PSM II certification from Scrum.org in April 2021, the Professional Scrum Master PSM I certification from Scrum.org in March 2021, the PMP Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2015, the CEFR - English Level C1 (Effective Operational Proficiency or advanced) certification from CEFR in April 2013, the PRINCE2 Foundation certification from APM Group in April 2010, the NT2 - Staatsexamen Nederlands als tweede taal certification from Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO) in June 2008, and the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in June 2007.
