Florin Toth

Florin Toth is currently working as a Business Analyst at Robeco since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Management Consultant at APG Asset Management from January 2016 to March 2022. Florin also worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Luxoft / Murex from October 2015 to January 2016, and as a Senior Business Analyst at Misys from March 2011 to February 2015. Florin Toth has also gained experience as a Co-Founder and Business Development at Alpha Machine Learning from April 2012 to March 2013. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Portfolio Manager at Raiffeisen Asset Management from June 2007 to March 2011, Head of Research at MKB Romexterra Finance from March 2006 to June 2007, and Fund Manager at Certinvest SAI SA from October 2004 to March 2006.

Florin Toth completed a Data Science Specialization course through The Johns Hopkins University via Coursera. Florin obtained this certification in September 2015 along with several other certificates in different areas of data science such as Developing Data Products, Practical Machine Learning, Regression Models, Statistical Inference, Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, and R Programming. Prior to that, they attended Stanford University where they completed Venture Lab Online Courses in Entrepreneurship in 2012. Florin also holds a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from BI Norwegian Business School, which they obtained between 2002 and 2004. Additionally, they took MBA Courses at emlyon business school in 2003. Florin further pursued an Advanced Diploma in Economics from Nottingham Trent University from 2000 to 2001. Florin's undergraduate education includes a BA in International Business from Academia de Studii Economice din București, which they completed between 1997 and 2001. Florin has also obtained additional certifications in Digital Transformation from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business & BCG and Lean Green Belt Certification from ATIM in 2020.
