Arthur Schmidt

Arthur Schmidt has extensive experience in the field of gastroenterology. Arthur held the position of Chief of the Department of Gastroenterology at Robert Bosch Krankenhaus starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Interdisciplinary GI Endoscopy at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg from May 2017 to January 2023. Before that, they worked at Klinikum Ludwigsburg, where they were an Oberarzt from November 2012 to April 2017 and an Assistenz-/Facharzt from July 2004 to November 2012. Arthur also worked as a Facharzt at Krankenhaus vom Roten Kreuz for a brief period from June 2012 to July 2012.

Arthur Schmidt attended The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg from 1997 to 2004, where they obtained a Staatsexamen in Humanmedizin. Arthur has also acquired additional certifications, including becoming a Professor of Medicine from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau in 2020, obtaining Venia legendi Internal Medicine from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg in 2017, obtaining Zusatzbezeichnung Gastroenterologie from Labdesärztekammer Baden-Württemberg in 2011, and becoming a Facharzt Innere Medizin from Landesärztekammer Baden-Württemberg in 2010.
