Davia Weatherill

Davia Weatherill has extensive work experience in various organizations. From 2023, they are working as the Director of Experience Atlanta and Experience Woodruff Capital Campaign at The Woodruff Arts Center. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2023, they worked as an Independent Consultant, offering senior-level fundraising, oversight, and reporting services to support and grow operations and strategic initiatives for various clients, including 7 Stages and Paradise Garden Foundation. From 2005 to 2011, they held multiple roles at Alliance Theatre, including Teaching Artist, Grants Manager, and Finance Assistant. During their time at Alliance Theatre, they targeted and obtained over $7,000,000 in grants. Before that, from 2003 to 2005, they worked as the Office Warranty Manager at Credit Union AutoFinders (CUA), overseeing general accounting functions, daily operations, and sales events. Additionally, they have also worked as a Freelance Copywriter and Editor.

Davia Weatherill attended Valdosta State University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus in Theatre/Theater. Additionally, in 1998 and 1999, they briefly studied Drama, Media, and Communications at the University of Roehampton.
