Annabel Tang is currently a Staff Writer at Duke Chronicle and a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line, while also being a Robertson Scholar in the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program. Annabel previously worked as a Cashier & Barista at Brecotea and served as Secretary-General for GSMUN XXV, where responsibilities included managing conference committees and fundraising over $12,000 for Communities in Schools. As Editor In Chief of The Jabberwock, Annabel founded Project 1937, focusing on racial issues at Maggie L. Walker Governor's School. Additional experience includes serving as a Psychology Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University, studying biases in healthcare, and participating as a NSLI for Youth Scholar in a Chinese language immersion program. Annabel's academic background includes pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English and Neuroscience at Duke University, following graduation from Maggie L. Walker Governor's School.
