Danica Bajaj is a current Robertson Scholar at the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program, attending Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill. Danica is actively involved in various roles at Duke, including serving as a member of the Young Trustee Nominating Committee, conducting research as a Big Ideas Lab Researcher, and acting as a Duke Presidential Ambassador, while also leading recruitment efforts as the Catalyst Recruitment Chair. Danica has interned with the Edgecombe County Public Health Department, where a mobile syringe service program proposal led to a significant reduction in HIV cases. Additional experience includes consulting for The Headwaters Ecolodge, founding NJPA Helping Hands during the COVID-19 pandemic, interning at Mathematica, and participating in a summer research program at the University of Pennsylvania focused on bioinformatics. Danica is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Philosophy at Duke University, after graduating from The Lawrenceville School in 2021.
