Joanna Kuang

Joanna Kuang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product development and impact, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Product and Impact at Illumen Capital since July 2020. In this role, Joanna leads efforts focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization's unique platform. Prior positions at Illumen included Vice President of Product Development and Impact and Product Manager, where Joanna contributed to shaping DEI and ESG policies and conducted impact due diligence. Joanna has also held significant roles at Third Sector, aiding in the performance-based transformation of state agency contracts, and has served on the board of the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program since February 2023. A graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Joanna possesses a solid academic background in mathematics and international studies, further augmented by various internships and leadership roles throughout education.
