Andee Wallace, PhD

Andee Wallace, PhD has a diverse work experience. They are currently working as a Fellow at Activate since 2022. Prior to that, Andee co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Robigo starting in 2021. In 2020, Andee held the position of Director of Operations at resilience gives, a mission-driven apparel company that supports families impacted by disease.

Andee's academic background includes being a PhD Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2014 to 2020. During their time at MIT, they focused on engineering diatom peptides for the synthesis of silica nanomaterials and received recognition for their research at the 2019 Materials Research Society (MRS) spring conference.

Additionally, Andee has had experience as an Advisor at the Biological Engineering Communication Lab, where they initiated a public speaking coaching service and developed best practices for scientists in effective communication. They also served as the Assistant Director for the E^3 Mentoring Program and worked as a Scientist at Bolt Threads.

Andee Wallace, PhD pursued a four-year bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Stanford University, starting in 2009 and completing it in 2013. Following this, they continued their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2020, where they obtained their PhD in Bioengineering.
