Felix Kruger

Felix Kruger has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and bioinformatics. Felix is currently working as a Lead ML Engineer at Robin AI since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at BenevolentAI as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer from July 2020 to April 2023, and as an ML Engineer from July 2018 to July 2020. Before their time at BenevolentAI, Felix served as a Bioinformatics Data Scientist at benevolent.ai from January 2016 to July 2018. Felix also worked as a Research Associate at University College London from May 2014 to December 2015. Felix's career began at the European Bioinformatics Institute, where they worked as a PhD student from September 2009 to January 2014. Felix gained internship experience at the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2008.

Felix Kruger completed their education in the field of Life Sciences at the University of Cambridge from 2009 to 2013. Before that, they pursued a Diploma in Molecular Biomedicine at The University of Bonn from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications from Coursera, including Discrete Optimization (November 2022), Deep Learning Specialization (July 2018), Convolutional Neural Networks (June 2018), Structuring Machine Learning Projects (May 2018), Neural Networks and Deep Learning (April 2018), and Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization (April 2018).
