Joshua Chin

Joshua Chin has a diverse work experience in the legal field. In 2022, they began working as a Junior Legal and Product Specialist for Robin AI, a legal tech company backed by Google, SoftBank and Forward Partners. In 2021, they were a Legal Analyst and Legal Intern for Kaiku, Legal Extern for qLegal, and Legal Technology Analyst for BamLegal. In 2020, they co-founded the university's first ever mentorship programme with the law society and was a National Finalist in the U.K.'s largest inter-uni commercial awareness competition. Joshua also had an internship experience with FT. Ahmad & Co in the Litigation department, and internships with Bright Network and Legal Cheek. Additionally, they were an Open Day Candidate for Shoosmiths.

Joshua Chin has a comprehensive education history. Joshua completed their Cambridge A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at Methodist College Kuala Lumpur from 2017 to 2018. Joshua then attended Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School from 2012 to 2016 and obtained an IGCSE Equivalent (SPM). In 2018, they enrolled at Bristol Law School and obtained a Bachelor of Laws - LLB in 2021. In 2020, they completed an Introduction to Corporate Finance by Coursera from the University of Pennsylvania. Joshua is currently pursuing a Master of Laws - LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law at Queen Mary University of London, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
