Luis Sentis

Luis Sentis is a seasoned academic currently serving as a Professor of Aerospace Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin since January 2010, having previously held positions as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in related fields. Prior experience includes a tenure at Stanford University from September 1998 to 2009, where Luis worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant, as well as holding the La Caixa Fellowship. Earlier career experience includes the role of Controls Systems Engineer at Phase 2 Automation and an internship with the Barcelona City Council. Luis earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master of Science in the same field from Stanford University, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Educational background includes primary and secondary schooling in France and Spain.
