Laurens De Baets

Laurens De Baets has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Laurens is currently working at Robovision as the Head of Presales & Platform Delivery since October 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of Presales at the same company from January 2022 to October 2022.

Before joining Robovision, Laurens worked at Colruyt Group as a Business Architect from February 2021 to January 2022.

Their longest tenure was at Lidl België & Luxemburg, where they held multiple roles starting from their position as an International Management Trainee Finance from February 2015 to July 2016. Laurens then progressed to become a Junior Consultant Logistic Solutions, where they were involved in an SAP EWM project from July 2016 to September 2017. Following that, Laurens served as a Consultant Unternehmensorganisation from September 2017 to June 2019, where they led various projects including the implementation of an ideas platform. Lastly, they held the role of Senior Consultant Unternehmensorganisation from June 2019 to February 2021, where they managed IT projects related to O365 implementation, automation/RPA, workflow digitalisation, and digital store assistant.

Earlier in their career, Laurens also worked at Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG as a Junior Consultant Logistic Solutions from July 2016 to September 2017, where they played a role in replacing the existing IT landscape with an SAP EWM system by defining requirements and implementing the blueprint/template.

Laurens De Baets has a diverse education history. In 2004 to 2010, Laurens attended Don Bosco Zwijnaarde, where they pursued a degree in Economie - moderne talen. Later, from 2010 to 2014, they enrolled at Ghent University, where they obtained a Master of Science in de Handelswetenschappen with a specialization in Strategisch Management. In 2012, they also spent a brief period at EDHEC Business School, focusing on Financiën (Finance). Most recently, in 2020, Laurens participated in a program at Vlerick Business School, earning a Certificate of participation in Digital Transformation Leadership.
