Loes Brabant

Loes Brabant has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology and research fields. Loes is currently working as a Solution Project Manager at Robovision, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vandewiele nv from 2017 to 2022, first as an R&D Software Engineer and then as an R&D Software Expert. Before that, they were a Research Engineer - Software Researcher at Inside Matters - 3D Insights to Innovate from 2014 to 2017. Loes also has experience in academia, having served as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Ghent University from 2013 to 2014 and as a PhD Student from 2009 to 2013. Loes'sPhD research focused on developing algorithms for image analysis and reconstruction of CT data in the field of high resolution X-ray computed tomography.

Loes Brabant pursued their education at Ghent University, where they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Physics and Astronomy from 2007 to 2009. Loes then continued their academic journey at the same institution and obtained a Research Doctorate (PhD) in Physics, which they completed between 2009 and 2013.
