Christine Bakan

Christine Bakan serves as the Global Head and Group Vice President of Computational Science and Informatics R&D at Roche. In addition, Christine Bakan is a board member of the Thirst Project. Previously, Christine Bakan held the position of Global Head and VP of Software and Bioinformatics for Next Generation Sequencing at Roche Sequencing Solutions and served as Senior Director of Digital and Core Software Technologies at Cisco Systems. Additionally, Christine Bakan was the Area Vice President of Research & Development at BMC Software. Currently, Christine Bakan is pursuing a Master's degree in Computational Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley, and is also studying Business Administration and Management at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
