Ema Ozaki

Ema Ozaki is a Senior Scientist in pRED Ophthalmology at Roche since April 2023, bringing extensive experience from previous roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Clinical Medicine and the Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience at Trinity College Dublin from September 2015 to April 2023. Ema also served as a Research Assistant in Dr. Sarah Doyle’s laboratory between April 2015 and July 2015, focusing on the role of complement factors and TLR signalling in age-related macular degeneration through various research methodologies. Early research experience includes an American Ireland Fund Scholarship at the University of California, San Francisco in summer 2009, where Ema investigated synapse mechanisms in Drosophila cell cultures. Ema holds a PhD in Ocular Genetics (2015) and a BA in Human Genetics (2010), both from Trinity College Dublin.
