Matteo Di Piazza has extensive experience in various research and leadership roles in the field of biochemistry, molecular biology, and oncology. From their early predoctoral training to their current role as a Senior Principal Scientist at Roche, Matteo has focused on nonclinical safety strategies for gene and cell therapies, cancer vaccines, and oncolytic viruses. Matteo has also been involved in strategic planning for clinical trials, assessment of novel approaches in gene therapies, and scouting for innovative platform technologies in precision medicine.
