Raffael Koller is a highly experienced scientist in the field of chemistry, currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Roche in the pCMC Process Research department since November 2014, after a progression from Senior Scientist in the same area. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at BASF, focused on lead identification and optimization, and a Postdoctoral position at Stanford University, where Raffael specialized in enantioselective synthesis. Raffael completed a PhD at ETH Zurich with significant research on trifluoromethyl ethers and phosphines, following dual Master's degrees in Chemistry from ETH Zurich and Imperial College London.
