Simona Lange

Simona Lange is a Senior Scientist at Roche since October 2019, specializing in pRED, Investigative & Immuno Safety within Neuroscience. Prior to this role, Simona worked as a Research Scientist at Beiersdorf from March 2018 to October 2019, where responsibilities included developing novel ideas, designing research projects, supervising students, and fostering collaborations. Simona took a sabbatical from June 2016 to March 2018 to travel around the world. As a Research PhD Student from December 2011 to June 2016 at Paris-Lodron University in Salzburg, Austria, Simona focused on external research projects at Paracelsus Medical University. An internship at the Wellcome Trust Cambridge Stem Cell Institute in February 2013 involved analyzing the effects of pericytes on oligodendrocytes and improving molecular and cellular biological techniques. Educational background includes a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg, an MS in Molecular Biology from the Technical University of Munich, and a BS in Biology from the same institution.
