Richard Powell Ph.D.

Richard Powell PhD, JD is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in clinical research, law, and counseling. Currently serving as a Research Consultant, Clinical Research Director, and Therapist at the Rochester Center for Behavioral Medicine since May 2019, Richard also holds positions as an Attorney at the Center for Mental Health Policy and Law, PLLC, and Counseling Supervisor at Sollars and Associates. With a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. in Counseling from Oakland University and a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, Richard has contributed to the field as a Lecturer, Graduate Research Assistant, and Program Coordinator.
