Shirley Flinders

Shirley Flinders is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in substation operations and education. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Substation Operations at Rochester Gas & Electric since May 2008, Shirley has advanced from roles such as Lead Engineer and Supervisor, focusing on system protection and control within the System Engineering Department. Prior experience includes teaching Electronics Engineering Technology courses at Grambling State University. Shirley holds a Master's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Morehead State University, as well as an Associate's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Maysville Community and Technical College.
