Prabu David

Prabu David is currently the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at the Rochester Institute of Technology, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Prabu David served as Dean at Michigan State University from July 2014 to August 2023, focusing on enhancing the synergy between communication arts and sciences. David's academic leadership experience includes serving as Associate Dean for Academics at Washington State University within the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication from August 2010 to December 2014, and as Associate Professor at The Ohio State University from August 1993 to August 2010, where curriculum revisions and program restructuring were notable achievements. Prabu David holds a PhD in Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master's Degree in Journalism from Ohio University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Loyola College in Chennai, India.
