Chris Brookins

Chris Brookins is a finance professional with extensive experience in business development, operations, and investment management. Chris is currently a Co-Founder at RociFi, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, they were the Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Valiendero Digital Assets from January 2019 to April 2021. Additionally, Chris has founded and led Pugilist Ventures as the CEO from November 2017 to January 2019.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Chris worked as a Business Development Manager at CivicScience, a consumer insights firm specializing in the FinTech and Finance vertical. Chris held this role from February 2017 to October 2017. Chris also served as a Business Development Consultant at Pluto AI from September 2016 to January 2017.

Earlier in their career, Chris held positions at Valor Water Analytics, Inc as the Director of Operations from January 2016 to April 2016 and as the Business Development Lead and Associate from August 2015 to January 2016. Before that, they worked as a Commercial Credit Analyst at Huntington National Bank from June 2012 to July 2014 and as an Equity Trader at G-2 Trading from August 2011 to April 2012. Chris's career started at PNC Financial Services, where they worked as a Business Banking Associate from June 2010 to June 2011.

Chris Brookins earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance & Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. Chris pursued further education by attending the Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. During their time at Carnegie Mellon, Chris focused their studies on Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, Strategy, and Marketing.
