Carissa Mayer

Carissa Mayer is an experienced professional specializing in technology innovation and community service. Currently serving as the Technology Innovation Administrator at The Rock Church since April 2010, Carissa manages software projects and provides administrative support to the Technology Innovation Team. Previous roles include Operations & Events Manager at Do Something Church, where the focus was on fostering community engagement through Pervasive Hope, and Executive Assistant for Miles Ahead Ministries, a non-profit dedicated to youth outreach. Earlier career experiences comprise supervisory positions at Starbucks and sales roles at Gap Inc. and Neiman Marcus. Carissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Media Studies from San Diego State University.
