Rich Shane has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Rich started their career at The 3do Company, where they co-founded the company and served as an Executive Producer for six years. Rich then joined Intel Capital as the Director of Strategic Investments for two years before founding and serving as the CEO of HomeWarehouse.com. After that, Rich became the CEO of Bitlocker. Rich later joined eBay as the Director of Strategic Planning & Analysis, contributing to the company's growth for three years. In 2005, they co-founded and served as the CEO of MediaMaster before joining Qual-Pro Corporation as the VP of Business Operations for five years. Rich then advised Vertascale, a software company specializing in Big Data solutions, and served as their Advisor for two years. Currently, they are the CEO of Rocket Fizz Soda Pop and Candy Shop, the world's largest candy and soda store franchisor.

Rich Shane attended UCLA from 1982-1987 where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Math & Computer Science. Rich then went on to attend Harvard University from 1989-1991, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Additionally, during this same time period, they also attended Harvard Business School and earned another Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
