Chris Poirier

Chris Poirier has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of New Brunswick until 2005. Following that, they joined Johns Hopkins University as a Research Assistant from 2005 to 2011. From 2011 to 2017, Chris worked at SocialCode, where they held multiple roles including Research Engineer, Lead Research Engineer, Principal Research Engineer, and Director of Labs and Data Science. In 2017, Chris joined Upside Business Travel as the Senior Director of Data Science, and later became the Vice President of Data Science in 2018. In 2020, they acted as an Advisor at Flourish before joining Rocket Money (formerly Truebill) as the VP of Data.

Chris Poirier pursued their education in the field of Electrical Engineering. From 2001 to 2005, they attended the University of New Brunswick, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree. Following this, they enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University from 2005 to 2011 to pursue their Ph.D. degree. During their Ph.D. studies, they focused on the areas of Electrical Engineering, Computational Biology, and Control Systems.
