Michael Buckman

Michael Buckman has over 10 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. Michael began their career in 2010 as a Training and Member Services employee at Millennial Services before moving on to intern in IT Operations and Strategic Projects at Porsche Financial Services for two consecutive summers in 2011 and 2012. In 2012, they also worked as Tech Ops and Help Desk employee at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.

Michael then moved to Perficient in 2013, starting as an Associate Technical Consultant and later holding various positions such as Technical Consultant, Senior Technical Consultant, Lead Technical Consultant, and Solutions Architect. At Perficient, they were primarily responsible for technical lead roles in custom web application projects using .NET Core, Angular, and various Azure services, with duties ranging from team management and work stream to CI/CD and documentation using Azure DevOps.

From May 2021 to September 2022, Michael worked as a Cloud Engineer at Fastly, responsible for deploying, managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure using AWS and Google Cloud.

More recently, in September 2022, Michael joined Rockhop as a Senior Solutions Architect, where they are expected to provide technical leadership and direction for their architecture and engineering teams.

Michael Buckman earned a Bachelor's degree in Informatics with a Business Minor from Indiana University Bloomington in 2013. Michael has also obtained several certifications from Microsoft in various areas including Azure architect design, developing ASP.NET MVC web applications, and Power Platform app maker. In addition, they are Scrum Master Certified by the Scrum Alliance.
