Matthew Rice

Matthew Shawn Rice, M.Ed, currently serves as a School Principal for Rockingham County Schools, with prior roles as Assistant Principal and Director of Choirs, where responsibilities include directing the RHS Chorale and Chamber Singers. Concurrently, Matthew holds the position of Organist and Choir Director at First Christian Church of Christ. Previous experience encompasses being an A+ Schools Fellow with the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, focusing on arts integration in education, and serving as Assistant Principal and Band Director in various school districts.
