Dawn Mugford

Dawn Mugford has a strong background in risk management and finance. Dawn currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Rockland Trust. Prior to that, they worked at Eastern Bank as the Director of Operational Risk Management and Corporate Security/Investigations. Dawn also held the role of Director of Operational Risk Management at Eastern Bank. Dawn has experience at Unum as the Director of QA/P&P - Risk Management, where they supported business goals and strengthened operations. Dawn has also worked as a Financial/Operational consultant at Maribito Associates, where they reviewed finance reporting and operational processes for compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition, Dawn has extensive experience at TD, where they held multiple positions, including Director of Risk Management, VP of Risk Management, Senior Compliance and Risk Manager, Senior Finance Manager, Senior Auditor/Senior Credit Review Officer, and Senior credit underwriter. In these roles, they assessed compliance, provided guidance on risk management frameworks, and led financial and management reporting processes.

Dawn Mugford attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Accounting and Finance. Dawn also holds additional certifications, including the "Auditing your Human Resources Function" certification from the Institute Of Internal Auditors, the "Canadian Securities Course (CSC) investment certificate" from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI), the "Commercial credit certification" from TD, the "Fundamentals of Bank Credit Analysis" certification from SNL Financial, the "Fundamentals of Bank Valuations" certification from SNL Financial, the "Fundamentals of IT Audit" certification from the Institute Of Internal Auditors, and the "Fundamentals of Project Management" certification from TD.
