Ross Weaver

Ross Weaver has extensive experience in the IT industry, with a focus on IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and business processes. Ross is currently working as the Field CTO at Rockport Networks Inc., where they are involved in reimagining high-performance networks. Prior to this role, Ross worked as an Independent Consultant, assisting clients in modernizing their IT environments and meeting security requirements. Ross also served as a Senior Technology Account Manager at VMware, where they supported clients in implementing VMware products and maximizing their value. Additionally, Ross has worked in various roles, including as an Independent Consultant for the Town of Clarence-Rockland, a Senior Systems Engineer/Solutions Architect at AirVM, a Solutions Architect at Technology Integration Group, a Sales Engineer/Systems Engineer at Itex Enterprise Solutions, and a Sales Engineer at N-able Technologies. Throughout their career, Ross has demonstrated expertise in network design, systems architecture, solution selling, and customer relationship management.

Ross Weaver completed their Bachelor of Engineering and Management degree with a major in Computer Engineering and a minor in Commerce from McMaster University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications throughout their career, including VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization from VMware in February 2017, Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP) from Nutanix in August 2015, and VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization from VMware in March 2015, among others.
