Nikolay Penkov

Nikolay Penkov is an experienced electrical engineer with a master's degree in Electrical Equipment and Power Supply from the Technical University of Varna. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at ROCKWOOL Group since September 2018, Nikolay has previously held roles such as Electrical Engineer and Technical Project Manager at ReTec Automation ApS, where responsibilities included the electrical systems for a plasterboard recycling plant and commissioning a Baleopener plant. Prior experience includes managing electrical projects at HeidelbergCement, overseeing the investment program at Devnya Cement, and working as Manager of Electrical and Automation Projects at Devnya Cement/Italcementi group, where Nikolay led significant construction and commissioning projects. Career began as a Power Supply Engineer, focusing on maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
