Dr. Doneva Chavis

Dr. Doneva Chavis serves as the Cultural Arts Director at Edgecombe Community College since July 2021, where responsibilities include scheduling performances and creating the performance arts series for the Keihin Auditorium, as well as booking events for the Mobley Atrium and Cummins Conference area. In addition, Dr. Chavis has been the Catering Sales Manager at Rocky Mount Event Center since August 2019 and previously held the position of Director of Sales Marketing at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson from July 2009 to August 2019. Dr. Chavis is pursuing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Trevecca Nazarene University and holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education from Claremont Lincoln University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral and Social Science from North Carolina Central University.
