Meredith Massar Munson

Meredith Massar Munson is a Postdoctoral Fellow of Art History at Rocky Mountain College, where employment has been held since August 2022. Prior academic roles include Visiting Assistant Professor at Sam Houston State University from August 2019 to May 2022, and Adjunct Professor and Adjunct Faculty positions at The University of Texas at Arlington and Texas Christian University, respectively, from 2016 to 2019. Munson has extensive experience as a doctoral candidate in Art and Religion at the Graduate Theological Union, where a PhD was conferred in 2016, and a dissertation titled "Babylon, New Jerusalem, and the Brooklyn Bridge: Modern Vastations in American Art" was completed. Additional roles include Art School Director at Art League Houston and positions at Baylor University and the Dallas Museum of Art. Academic credentials include a BA in Art History and Studio Art from Baylor University, an MA in Art History from Texas Christian University, and a PhD from the Graduate Theological Union.
