Caitlin Akai

Caitlin Akai has an extensive work experience in the digital and ecommerce industry. Caitlin is currently working as the Director of Ecommerce at Rocky Mountain Soap Company since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Mindful Collective Co. as the Director of Digital from January 2022 to September 2022, and as the Ecommerce Manager from March 2021 to December 2021. Caitlin also worked at Native Shoes as a Contract eCommerce Manager from November 2018 to July 2019. Earlier in their career, Caitlin held various roles at LUSH FRESH HANDMADE COSMETICS North America, Dominion Marine Media, boats.com, and Dominion Enterprises, focusing on digital marketing, web analysis, and conversion optimization.

Caitlin Akai has a diverse educational background. Caitlin obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art History from The University of British Columbia from 1994 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Diploma in Computer Science (DCS) from The University of British Columbia, which they completed from 2000 to 2003. Caitlin furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Interactive Arts & Technology from Simon Fraser University, which they completed from 2004 to 2007.

Additionally, Caitlin Akai holds a Google Analytics Individual Qualification certification, which they obtained from Google in October 2020.
