Kelly Reed is an experienced editorial professional with a strong background in book publishing. Currently serving as Executive Editor at Rocky Nook, Inc. since May 2019, Kelly focuses on creating innovative books and attracting diverse talent. Previously, as Senior Editor at Insight Editions from October 2015 to April 2019, Kelly was instrumental in producing the bestselling parody storybook A Die Hard Christmas and managing cookbooks tied to popular TV and movie franchises. Prior roles include Senior Acquisitions Editor at Ulysses Press, where many bestselling titles across various genres were acquired, and Acquisitions Editor at Arcadia Publishing, where market research and author coaching were key responsibilities. Kelly initiated a career in journalism as a reporter at Paradise Post, covering local government stories. An educational foundation in Journalism and English was established at California State University, Chico, with a degree earned in 2006.
