Vala Halldorsdottir

Vala Halldorsdottir has an extensive work experience, beginning in 2009 with their role as Co-Founder and Producer of Heilaspuni, an Icelandic boardgame. In 2010, they were the Director of the documentary The Startup Kids. In 2011, they were the Co-Founder of KinWins, an online motivation game and family social network. From 2013 to 2017, they held various roles at Plain Vanilla Games, including CRO and Head of Content and Editor-in-Chief of QuizUp. In 2015, they became a Board Director at Sagafilm. In 2018, they were the CEO of Framtíðin. In 2021, they were the Interim VP of Revenue at Avo. Currently, they are the COO and Co-Founder at Rocky Road Inc.

Vala Halldorsdottir obtained their B.Sc. in Engineering from Háskóli Íslands between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they attended Commercial School of Iceland from 2001 to 2005 and obtained a College degree in Economy.
