Kevin Burke

Kevin Burke is an experienced ELL educator currently teaching at Newport Public Schools since September 2021. Previously, Kevin served as an ELL and Social Studies Teacher at Bound Brook High School from September 2016 to September 2021 and held the position of Long-Term Replacement ESL Teacher in the Phillipsburg School District for middle and high school students from November 2015 to August 2016. Kevin's early career includes roles as a Long-Term Substitute Teacher and Social Studies Teacher in various school districts and a student teaching experience at J.P. Case Middle School. Prior to transitioning into education, Kevin worked as a Benefits Analyst at AonHewitt. Kevin holds a Master of Arts in Teaching with a certification in ESL from Monmouth University and a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Rutgers University.
