Pmp® Russell Roman

Russell Roman, PMP®, has extensive work experience in various leadership roles and consulting positions. Russell has a strong background in strategic planning, program management, and organizational development.

From 2018-2020, Russell worked as the Vice President of Planning and Development at Rogers Machinery Company, Inc, where they led strategic planning and provided internal consulting services. Russell also designed and managed a new transformation program for the company. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Director of Planning and Development at the same company from 2018-2020, where they planned and launched three new branches and provided internal consulting services.

In 2020, Russell worked as a Principal at Resilient Solutions Partners, a company specializing in crisis response planning and fortifying organizations during crises such as COVID-19.

From 2014-2018, Russell held several leadership roles at Philips, including Senior Director, Emergency Care and Resuscitation PMO, Director, Emergency Care and Resuscitation Program Management Office (PMO), and Director, Business Transformation Program Management. In these roles, they were responsible for program management, cross-functional leadership, and driving performance improvement initiatives.

Before their time at Philips, Russell worked as an Associate Partner at Centerline Partners from 2010-2013, where they led requirements management consulting services for multiple clients. Russell also worked as part of the PMO at EMC Consulting (formerly BusinessEdge Solutions) from 2005-2010.

Russell started their consulting career in 1990 as an Experienced Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting, where they supervised organizational change projects and managed relationships between end-users and systems personnel. Russell later worked as a Project Manager at Sapient, managing multi-million dollar budgets and assisting in the growth of the Atlanta office.

In 2004, Russell served as an Independent Consultant at Clifton Heights Associates, leading change management and training initiatives for a leading mortgage processor. Russell also worked as the Senior Director of Project Management at S&H greenpoints from 2000-2004, where they were responsible for launching loyalty programs for retail customers.

In 1998, Russell co-founded Pinnacle Solutions Corporation, a consulting firm specializing in project management and operational consulting.

Throughout their career, Russell has demonstrated expertise in project management, strategic planning, consulting, and driving organizational change.

Russell Roman, PMP®, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, which they completed between 1986 and 1990. In addition, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. Russell acquired their Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2009. Prior to that, they achieved the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Dell EMC in March 2010. Russell'smost recent certification, the End2End Lean Leadership Advanced, was attained from Philips in March 2015.
