Abhishek Majumdar

Abhishek Majumdar is a seasoned professional in machine learning and software engineering, currently serving as a Tech Lead and previously as a Software Engineer at Roku Inc. since September 2017. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at UC San Diego Health Sciences, focusing on big data analysis and colon cancer tissue image studies, along with a Teaching Assistantship in Algorithms and Systems Analysis at the University of California, San Diego. Abhishek's early career involved internships and research roles at prestigious institutions, including the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and the Indian Statistical Institute, where expertise in machine learning applications was developed, particularly in EEG brain signal analysis and computational neuroscience. Abhishek holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
