Bharath Krishna

Bharath Krishna is a senior software engineer with extensive experience in data platforms and distributed systems. Currently at Roku Inc. since July 2022, Bharath leads projects involving Hive, metastore, Gobblin, Airflow, and Flink, with a focus on data migration services and retention management. Previous roles include significant contributions at Google in developing scalable configurations for Google Cloud, and working as an Apache Hive Committer at The Apache Software Foundation. Bharath also gained experience at Cloudera as a software developer on Hive and Impala, and held various positions in academia and prior internships at Amazon and Hewlett-Packard. Bharath holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the College of Engineering Trivandrum.
