Rose Berns-Zieve

Rose Berns-Zieve serves as the 9th Grade Academic Dean and Upper School Math Teacher at Roland Park Country School since August 2018, teaching various advanced math courses including AP Calculus BC and pre-calculus. In addition to teaching, Rose holds multiple roles focused on student wellness and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, including serving as a faculty co-supervisor of the Student Wellness Organization and a member of the DEI All-School Team. Previous experience includes roles as Camp Director at Hawk Circle Wilderness Education, an instructor and teaching assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and various positions in educational settings focusing on mathematics and student mentoring. Rose attained a BA in Mathematics with honors from Hamilton College and a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
